I am always looking for a good masculine stamp set and the Stampin’ Up By The Dock bundle fits the bill! It is a great stamp set bundled with coordinating dies to use for cutting out stamped shapes.
This card begins with a card base using Soft Suede cardstock. The first layer is a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock cut 5 1/4” x 4” and embossed using the Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder. I cut three circles using the Stitched Shapes Dies; one is Balmy Blue, one is Soft Suede, and the third is Pear Pizzaz. I cut one square of Whisper White cardstock 3” x 3” and a second square 2 3/4” x 2 3/4”. I stamped my images on the smaller piece and then layered it on top of the larger white piece using Dimensionals. I used the Dockside Dies to cut the stamped images of the oars and frog, and also the same die set to cut out the reeds and cat tails. I also used Stampin’ Blends to do a little coloring on the dock just for some dimension and added a few fun embellishments.
